Your voice is entrancing. Very nice calm intro, making me think, okay, somethings going to go down here. The anticipation built up until "I'm waking up," then the beat hit me. I had chills and noticed I was moving with it, becoming immersed. I went and listened to the original (I had only heard bits and pieces here and there) and I think this is a worthy tribute of such a great song.

but...

00:43 00:58 (and a couple other spots) noticeable 'puffs' from the vocals. Maybe that's just a pet peeve of mine but it drives me nuts.

Anyways I'm glad I got back on this site and heard this. I look forward to more. ^^

VGSongbird responds:

Lol it's totally possible. My recording equipment is what I can afford on a min. wage salary, and it can only do so much :3
I'm glad you liked it for all it was worth though! :D

This is.. awesome. When I listened to this, it's like I was in another world. Such a mysterious intro brought me in, then I hear that voice, then the beats come in and I'm moving, then more vocals and I get goosebumps. It's just so hypnotic and beautiful.

I dunno, I'm probably not making sense, but I love it.

VGSongbird responds:

Lol I followed what you were saying. And I'm very flattered. Thank you for taking the time to listen and review ^_^

I like, got me moving a bit

It's got that real deep feel and a nice build at the start. The Egoraptor clip was a nice little touch. Push it further! =D

Zizmo responds:

Of course Ima push it further, in do time sir ;)

Nice.

I'd probably respect it more if the first time I had heard it wasn't in the mcroll'd video, because it's very catchy. Regardless, I find this one more tolerable than the original.

Kloudtana responds:

haha, yeah, thats the first time a lot of people heard it, yeah. thanks though.

..Interesting

I can imagine something like this playing during some sort of silent scenery scene in a movie. what the heck were the vocals, though? Did you record something and play it backwards?

Kloudtana responds:

it was my friend's girlfriend, played backwards, slowed down, pitched up, and run through some filters. i set out with the intent of making a real song, but got frustrated, and it got way out of control. clearly.

Outstanding.

Calming, I love the vocals. I also love this game. =)

VGSongbird responds:

*blushing*
thanks ^_^

Wow.

I love this. It got me movin. It's my favorite of yours by far. Only problem is that I can't really explain why.

Kloudtana responds:

certain things hit me that way too. i usually try to make my songs to capture what i like a lot (even if i cant explain why). for me in this song, its mostly the bass synth i made (very sawy and a bit crackly) and most of the melodies in the song. oh man, i am rambling because im tired. its 4 am. why am i still up. oh boy, im still rambling.

oh yeah, and thanks for the review.

Ambient indeed.

Ambient is a good choice of genre for this.
I like your original works. Keep it up. ^^

Kloudtana responds:

thanks a lot, buddy.

Catchy.

Got my foot tappin and my head bobbin. This compels me to send you a pm to see where you're currently posting your new stuff, so I will.

DJOrsa responds:

Haha, okay. :D
Just responded.

Nice.

I like this, but I can't hear the vocals very well.

fishfood2021 responds:

I feel that the vocals should be quiet because otherwise it overpowers the instrumentals. This is my personal taste, I'm sorry it bothers you :(. Thanks for review though! :)
